15 years ago when our own Steve Johnson became one of the first Certified Green Professionals and ENERGY STAR partners in North Carolina, he was considered on the "fringe" for embracing the new science that fixes how our buildings affect and intereract with our health and our environment.

That "fringe" sciece is now the paradigm.  Our peers are now lined up behind us now to learn and engage in this technolgoy.  The curve is steep.

Sustainability is about your building respecting the environment and resources it consumes, and consuming them less.  It is about responsible design - not whiz-bang gizmos that over promiss and under deliver.  

It is about engaging science and implementing it.
